Creative frontend developer, inspired by lived experience to improve accessibility and inclusivity in tech.Private information
My background is in creative writing, editing, teaching, animal care, and customer support. I made the pivot into tech because I wanted to pursue work that would be intellectually challenging and a bit creative, while providing more stability than I was able to find as a writer. I dove into frontend development entirely unprepared, and discovered that I truly love coding. It lights up my brain in many of the same ways writing does, and there is always a new thing to learn.
I completed an 8 month, intensive, project-based, frontend development program at Turing School of Software and Design, which is the first fully accredited bootcamp. Since graduating, I have also worked as an apprentice software engineer at Kin Insurance.
