Urban planner -> software developer curious about cities + code

Prior to discovering my passion for writing code, I worked for 10+ years in the urban planning and economic development sector. Through roles in nonprofits, private firms, academic research, and consulting, I gained a deep appreciation for the power of data - which inspired me to expand my technical skillset and pursue my next career step in software development.

In 2021, I started The Odin Project’s full-stack Ruby on Rails curriculum. I'm excited to contribute to growing products and teams through building and maintaining web applications.
